Despite Authors of Pain performing the double-team Super
Collider on their opponents, O'Reilly manages, barely, to knock down
Akam long enough to get a three-count to retain the titles.
- Velveteen Dream def. Kassius Ohno
Dream had promised to knock Ohno out in less than 30
seconds and set out as if it was a boxing match. He got a good hit,
but Ohno returned the favor. Dream wins after an elbow drop from the
top rope.
- Ember Moon (ch) def. Shayna Baszler
Moon reverses Baszler's arm lock into a roll-up to get a
pinfall victory to retain the championship.
- Extreme Rules match:
Aleister Black def. Adam Cole
Black has Cole down for a pinfall when Cole's associates
Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish come in attacking Black. Members of
Sanity come out to the aid of Black. Black eventually manages to
cover Cole for the pinfall victory.
- NXT championship:
Andrade "Cien" Almas (ch) [w/Zelina Vega] def. Johnny Gargano
After a long and grueling match where both men competed to
the utmost, Almas finally hits a hammerlock DDT to retain the
championship.
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 2018

The winner of the 2018 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will challenge the
reigning tagteam champions at NXT Takeover: New
Orleans.

Cole climbed the ladder to become the inaugural
champion.
- NXT Women's championship:
Shayna Baszler def. Ember Moon (ch) (subm.)
Moon worked Bazler's left arm to disarm her submission
moves, but she still managed to lock a sleeper hold to win the
championship.
- NXT tagteam championship, Triple threat:
The Undisputed Era (Kyle O'Reilly & Adam Cole (NA ch)) (ch) def.
Roderick Strong & Pete Dunne (WWE UK champion),

This match was also for the Dusty Rhodes Classic 2018.
Adam Cole replaced Bobby Fish under Freebird rules, due to illness.
He got slammed through the Spanish announce table early on and never
really entered the match. Dunne had O'Reilly down for a pinfall when
his tagteam partner Strong attacked him, allowing O'Reilly to pin
Dunne to retain the championships. After the match, Strong joined the
Undisputed Era.
- NXT championship:
Aleister Black def. Andrade "Cien" Almas (ch) [w/Zelina Vega]
Vega continued to interfere in the match on Almas' behalf,
but when she jumped off the top rope into the ring, she ended up in
Almas' arms, allowing Black to hit them both with the Black Magic to
get a pinfall victory to win the championship.
- Unsanctioned match:
Johnny Gargano def. Tommaso Ciampa (subm.)
Stipulation: In this no holds barred match, Gargano would
get his NXT job back if he won the match. Ciampa exposed the
concrete floor, but eventually ended up being bodyslammed onto it
himself. Ciampa submitted to Gargano's STF, where he was using
Ciampa's knee brace for leverage.

- NXT tagteam championship:
The Undisputed Era (Kyle O'Reilly & Roderick Strong) (ch) [w/Adam Cole
(NA ch)] def. Oney Lorcan & Danny Birch
Cole is sent back to the dressing room after stopping a
pinfall attempt. Birch and Lorcan has Undisputed Era in double
submission moves, but both Era men kick out. Strong pins Burch to
retain the championships.
- Ricochet def. Velveteen Dream
Dream tried to emulate Ricochet's moveset. Dream suplexed
Ricochet from the top turnbuckle onto the floor outside the ring,
almost ending the match in a double count-out. After a lot of jumps
of the top rope, Ricochet eventually hits a 630 on Dream and gets a
pinfall victory.
- NXT Women's championship:
Shayna Baszler (ch) def. Nikki Cross (subm.)
Baszler tried to take out Cross while scaring her, but
Cross seemed to enjoy the punishment. Baszler eventually won on
submission when she could not answer the referee in Baszler's triangle
hold.
- NXT championship:
Aleister Black (ch) def. Lars Sullivan
Black cannot take Sullivan out with the Black Mass, but
after another kick, he manages to take him down to get a pinfall
victory.
- Street fight:
Tommaso Ciampa def. Johnny Gargano
Ciampa started dismantling the ring, setting up to slam
Gargano on the exposed wooden ring floor, but Gargano somehow manages
to block the slam. Outside the ring, Gargano sends Ciampa through a
table after Ciampa had taken off and spit on his wedding ring. Ciampa
is put on a stretcher, when Gargano grabs him and takes him back into
the ring, where he has him tap out from a submission hold, but with
no referee. Ciampa manages to fight back and somehow pin Gargano on
the exposed wood.

- NXT tagteam championship:
Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate & Trent Seven) def.
Undisputed Era (Kyle O'Reilly & Roderick Strong) (ch)
Seven pins O'Reilly after a double-team move.
- Charlie Morgan def. Killer Kelly
Morgan rolls up Kelly in a small package to get the
pinfall victory.
- #1 contender for WWE UK championship, Fatal four-way:
Noam Dar def. Travis Banks, Flash Morgan Webster, Mark Andrews
It was already a triple threat match, but GM Johnny Saint
added Noam Dar and made it a fatal four-way. Dar pins Banks for the
contendership.
- NXT North American championship:
Adam Cole (ch) def. Wolfgang
Cole retains after a pinfall victory.
- Aleister Black (NXT ch) & Ricochet def. EC3 & Velveteen Dream
Dream walks out on EC3, leaving him alone with Aleister
Black. Black hits the Black Mass on EC3 to get a pinfall
victory.
- NXT Women's championship:
Shayna Baszler (ch) def. Toni Storm (count-out)
Baszler applies a sleeper hold outside the ring, and then
slides back into the ring before the ten count, to win by
count-out.
- WWE UK championship:
Pete Dunne (ch) def. Zack Gibson
Gibson applies the Shankly gates in the middle of the ring,
Dunne reverses but Gibson re-applies it and keeps it until Dunne
reaches the ropes. Dunne retaliates, attacking Gibson's fingers, hits
the Bitter End and gets a pinfall victory to retain the
championship.

O'Reilly pins Seven after a standing dropkick from
Strong.
- Velveteen Dream def. EC3
Dream pins EC3 after an elbow drop onto the ring
apron.
- NXT North American championship:
Ricochet def. Adam Cole (ch)
Ricochet pins Cole after a spinning Senton bomb from the
top rope.
- NXT Women's championship:
Kairi Sane def. Shayna Baszler (ch)
Sane elbow drops Baszler into a coquina clutch, but
reverses it to get a pinfall victory.
- NXT championship, Last Man Standing:
Tommaso Ciampa (ch) def. Johnny Gargano
After exposing the concrete floor, the wooden ring floor,
and throwing chairs at each other, Gargano handcuffs Ciampa to the
railing. After delivering a running knee, he can himself not get up
again and is counted out, leaving Ciampa the champion.

In an impromptu match, Riddle quickly hits Ohno with a
knee to the face to get a three-count.
- NXT Women's championship, Two out of three falls:
Shayna Baszler (ch) def. Kairi Sane
Sane taps out to Baszler's face lock for the first fall.
Sane pins Baszler after the insane elbow for the second fall. Sane
hits the insane elbow, but Baszler reverses the pinfall to win the
third fall and retain the championship.
- Aleister Black def. Johnny Gargano
Black pins Gargano after the Black Mass.
- NXT championship:
Tommaso Ciampa (ch) def. Velveteen Dream
Ciampa rams Dream into the steel ramp between the two War
Games rings, allowing him to get a pinfall victory after a roll-up,
to keep the championship.

One member from each team starts the match, with the rest being
released later. The match can only be won after everyone has
entered. Instead of entering, Fish attacks Dunne who is to enter
last, locking him in his entrance cage. The match did not officially
start until he entered, however. Eventually Ricochet and Dunne both
manage to cover Adam Cole to get a pinfall victory.
