The strangest of alliances

After Microsoft announced their plan to acquire Yahoo the strangest of alliances seem to form. Yahoo’s arch-rival Google posted in their official blog about this is bad for everyone, and media is reporting that Yahoo instead is considering allying itself with the same Google. Strange things are indeed happening in the IT business these days.
Another interesting issue is how a possible buy-out of Yahoo would impact Opera Software, considering that Yahoo is the default search engine since a year ago.

Maybe isn't that easy for MS to acquire yahoo afterall.
Yahoo-ers are having second thoughts, there were contacts with google, a special deal between them regarding Google's adsense seems likely.
As the reuters article says the offer isn't that great, is the bad days yahoo! is having right now that makes the transaction possible.
